Well after match porting the sections of the manifold, it came time to remove the idle control gear and air con (FICD) gear as I dont run any of it with my stand alone computer.

This is a pic of the almost finished manifold.

Total cost to me was nothing, as a mate did the welding, and I did all the cleaning, grinding, bead blasting porting etc.

The only other thing I would like to do is polish the rest of the manifold (the runners etc), this however comes at quite an expense. I was contemplating having it chemically polished, but nobody here in Australia can do it for me!!

Other than bolt it back together, I'll be tapping the runners just in case some addition ports are required at a later stage for nitrous.

I also removed many of the unused boss' (bolt holes and lugs) at the rear of the manifold, the main reason behind this was whenever the manifold has to come off it's a tight fit as the engine is in a FWD and there is not much room for my oversized hands and arms to fit, hence scratching the crap of of them.

Also, it tidies it up a little and makes some spare room. This is where the additional tapped ports will be.

I was considering buying a polishing wheel for my bench grinder, and also one for my die grinder, but I'm tipping this will take forever.........

They aren't too expensive to buy, but I want to put the car back togther before the end of the month.

I'm estimating a solid eight hours of work to have it real smooth. it'll take some time with all the little nooks and the top part of the runners. More than worth it if you route the harness behind :D

And one of the engine, these are all older photo's, the cooler piping is now different as the cooler was upgraded, and the exhaust manifold is being replaced as we speak. Once it's all back together I'll post some more pics etc.

Yeah, those aussie N13's are rediculous compared to the "KN13" in the states! I would love to more pics as well.

It's an Aussie Pulsar with all the JDM taillights and rear panels along with a custom body kit. I'll hopefully have some new pics soon, but if someone can host some pics I can post some higher res pics.

I wish it was AWD.

Cheers for the nice words.

Simon

These are the times that I hate living in the US. I hate that no cool cars came here until recently.
