stop being lazy

full-race is prolly one of the best even tho alot of people dont have it on their ka's. its equal lenght and has proven to make tons more power on every engine it has been on. prolly will be part of my next project

intake mani's right now are just customs. there will be a few out soon

Think of it this way, anything you do to get air in and out of your engine easier is going to make power. What flows better? A cast manifold with somewhat sharp bends that have uneven exhaust pulses hitting the turbine or a nice equal-lenght manifold with smooth bends, large diameter piping, and even exhaust pulses hitting the turbine wheel? The full race manifolds are much better. klattr just put his on and dynoed it. Just posted the results a couple days ago. Check them out. The only downside is thinner metal tends to crack quicker so be careful who you buy from. Some of these members own thier own shop. I would buy from pretty much any of them on here. All very smart.

klattr1 is using a boost designs manifold. its tubular but not equal length. yes he did make more power with it and a full-race would be even better. you have to decide if paying $1200 for a full-race is practical for you. maybe a $300 revhard that can take a beating and flows better than a standard log is better for u.

the BD mani seems like a nice omprimis in price and performance $550 for manifold and downpipe combo aint bad

a lot of manifolds are out there. the more budget oriented ones all have their shortcommings and advantages. cast are stronger but don't flow as well as tubular. tubular crack sometimes. if you've got money to get a non budget type (such as the $1200 one structure mentioned) it's obviously going to be a better manifold that will hopefully have the good qualities of the other ones. you have to compromise when you're on a budget, and decide what is best for your application. if you're not on a budget, then go nuts.

Thanks yall for the information. What company makes what size flang for the turbo. I might want to go gt3071r. It sounds like a dam good snail for what my goals are (after my motor buildup). Does any of these companys you guys said design an intake manifold for the ka? What could have done to the oem to make it flow better?
