Just wanted to share what I found on Ebay....

NO, I'm not selling this......http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=6770

Dosen't look bad. It looks like it'll just put the turbo in the stock location but still looks good.

And YES, Rb20 and RB25 use the same manifold bolt pattern. so it should fit either motor..............

Got that manifold yet? Hows it look?

I am talking to the manufacturer right now and pressing them to make more.

I am getting one of those manifolds from a vendor on http://www.nasioc.com of all places, $315 including shipping and bolts, no gasket. SSAUTOCHROME is the name of the guy on there, but is not actually affiliated with SSAUTOCHROME.

mattback, are you saying cut the flange to allow for expansion?

And, I wonder how easy it would be to modify it for an external wastegate...it's going to be hard to find an internally wastegated turbo that pushes the ~450hp I want, ~400whp.

I should have pictures up as soon as I get it.

Well, the manifold got dropped off today. Looks just like it does in the auction pictures. I wasn't expecting it to be so flat though. From flange to flange when laid flat, it's only about 4-5 inches. I'll try snap to some pics as soon as I can find a camera.

Go onto nasioc.com and message the guy I mentioned above. You can get it for the same price I did.

And no pics yet as I have not found a camera.

It sure is perty sitting on my shelf.

Really, I haven't had the means to try it out yet, and no means to take a pic.

The welds are great, one spot was missed. It has supports on top of the runners to prevent cracking and a support on the turbo flange.

wcbjr, thanks for the prompt reply!now how the heck would you fit an external wastegate onto that thing....... hacking and welding some more makes me cringe. Thinkin bout pickin up a precision SC61 turbo for it too ;)

I was thinking the same thing. If I wanted to go bigger than a T3/T04, than an external wastegate would be needed.

I see two ways, weld two runners together at the bottom, directly under the inside runners. Or have a shorty pipe go in between the manifold's turbo flange and the turbo's exhaust housing.

The manifold does not place the turbo in the spot I would have liked. It does not bring it completely up, rather of to the side. Because of this, I would build the shorty pipe equipped with an external gate to bring the turbo up some more, not to the side of the motor. If you have read Corky Bell's, Maximum Boost, you may know what I am talking about. Kill two birds with one stone. :)

The main thing is that there are welded supports for everything, which is what everybody has been complaining about with aftermarket manifolds.

Hope this helps.
