MANIFOLD LEAK!!

Well here is the story I installed a new exhaust manifold into my sr20 and for some reason it kept leaking out of end where the manifold connects to the motor. I brought it to a local shop and there telling me that the flange that connects to the motor is not flat. I was wondering if I use a copper gasket that is not compressed, if that will help stop the leak since it is much thicker than the metal compressed gasket?

Just get the flange milled so its flat...
