Manifold Grounds relocation?

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Can the grounds that mount to the front of the manifold (the 4 ring connectors) be relocated on another part of the car? or do they need to be grounded to the manifold?

doesnt really matter, just needs to be a GOOD ground connection as those are the primary grounds for the efi system.

The S1 ignitor ground also runs to that point, so it is important that it is a solid ground for those wires or you'll catch a case of the electrical gremlins.

I figured that much- I just wanted to make sure that it wasnt on the block/manifold for a reason. I just got done redoing the engine harness for this thing and the last thing I want is a demon to ruin my start up.
