I have a 95 240sx with the KA24DE motor in it at the moment and I just bought a Tanabe Front Strut Tower Brace and installed it. My question is, will the STB clear the CA18 and the manifold? A friend of mine on AIM suggested it wouldn't, but as he nor I own one right now, I figured it was smarter to ask the guys on here if any of you have any thoughts on this. I'm saving up for the CA(should have enough to buy the motor when I get back from Nopi), and am hoping the STB wasn't a wasted purchase on my part. Help guys? Please?

I put two washers on the inside bolt and it worked just fine. If you don't do this the strut bar still works but you will get a terrible vibration throughout your car. I am using a KA strut bar on my CA right now. IT does work just space the inside bolt. Oh I had to get a new nut though because once I spaced it the bolt would not tighten anymore.

So I could fit the CA and it's manifold under my bar?? I'd still love to do the CA if I could make it work. Maybe I'll 'borrow' Matt's CA18 for a little experiment. Ya.... That's it

Hey Will, I have the strut bar off my CA that I had in japan. I'm not sure if it will fit an s14 but I don't need the bar, I think it might be a cusco but I'm not sure. It's kinda old and it has no markings on it but is in great condition.

If you want we can get together one day and see if the bar will fit your s14. You said you wanted to hang out anyway. That'll give you 2 excuses to cruise out to my house, lol. JLMK
