Managing playlists on your built-in Hard Drive?

Anyone have any tips on managing the songs that you've downloaded onto the built-in hard drive? I have an '09x and have copied about 5 or 6 CDs onto the built-in Hard Drive. Each CD creates a new "folder" and I haven't found a good way to scan through the list of songs without interrupting the song that I'm currently listening to. The on screen display shows about 8 or 9 songs at a time, but you can't scroll from one page to another without actually changing the song that you're listening to.

Any tips?

I usually play by favorites, or by artist. There isn't a way to search while moving or interrupting the song.

If you want that functionality, use the iPod or Flash feature...with those you can search with more freedom.
