I was curious as to the basis of his termination, so I actually read the Post's article (something I try to avoid, typically... I've seen enough of the Post to know that they make no bones about their bias).

First, the guy's an at-will employee. They can fire him for whatever the hell they want.
Second, he's a public worker, and apparently the NJ Public Transit didn't want to have his actions on their hands.

having friends who worked for McCain, and now work for the Post, i have no doubts as to which way it leans. That being said, its interesting to see the cry's of this termination trampling the employees rights. Too bad they are wrong. I dont have an issue with the termination. You cant bring guns into a hospital, per hospital rules.
