Yes, Rich, we need to work on this 19" 'man cave' thing. Granted my whole house is a man cave, but 52" in the 'home theatre' room downstairs.

Same way here. I work for a United Van Lines agency. Nobody wants to move this time of year. BORING!!! So glad I have my "G" buddies to talk to.

Anybody looking forward to an exciting New Year? We are just having friends over and watching bowl games. I call New Year's Eve amatuer night. New Years night we have a room at the casino. Of course, I have to watch LSU!

Man-cave is a 16 by 12 building I had built specifically for working out.It has 1 inch floor/16 on center walls/8 foot walls/double doors on front and back for summer. Two windows. 30K BTU heater for winter. Recently added ridge vent/soffit vents/insulation boards over rafters.padded/commercial carpet.

Stereo/TV/Land line

Large beam for hanging 100 pound heavy bag. Two station Hoist workout equipmentdumbbells

Sounds like a manly-man cave to me!

Now all you need is a Texas Hold'm table.

to these.

I am off since last Thursday. LOL Won't be back till 4th of Jan. However I had some crap to do on the computer so I was working every night at home for 2-3 hours a day. All done. Finished my small 1/2 bathroom reno. Installed a new wireless at home. What a pain it was. 3 different system on 3 different laptop, game console, printer plus all the other small tech gismos to connect. Everything wireless.Finished it last night. Glad I shave and had no hair. I would of probably pulled out some.

Oh yeah top of that yesterday I had to fix my down pipe at the back for the rain. It came loose and the wind was throwing it side to side. That thing is 25 feet long. So I was on the ladder for 1 hour drilling holes and put some new attachments. Mind you it was chilling. -23 with wind.

AND STILL NOT MUCH SNOW!

I would call that a home-gym, not a man-cave. I was thinking that the only justification for a small tv would be for a home-gym. sounds like you put a lot of work into building that room.

I've got a home-gym, albeit much smaller (9x12), and it has a 19" tv mounted on the wall.

But my man cave is the rest of the basement with billiard table, bar, p0ker table - all separated from the theatre room, which has a 42" plasma, wireless speakers, and a platform for raised stadium-style seating.

it's not the best, but it's certainly manly and cavey.... so get your popcorn ready, b/c the Big Lebowski will be showing next...

A basement would be so cool. Houses don't have basements in Memphis. They are all built on concrete slabs.

If I had me a big spare room, I would put my Camaro in it and keep it forever and ever.

It's where I get away, work out, practice my MA, work on stuff (work bench and tools are there), mainly alone. No, I don't sit around watching TV there, but the TV keeps me company while I'm doing something there. It is my man-cave/dog house!!

I'm bored already....

It's 13 degrees outside and I'd love to be working on the G but the garage is not heated. We plan on getting another house soon so I don't want to invest in heating for a garage that I won't be keeping.....

I sad
