i've been driving the Charger for the past month to work. last night i had to move the vert from the driveway and i got the bug to drive it again. so i drove it today to work and man did i miss that car!! it handles so much better than the charger. the charger is still faster but nowhere near as good on corners!! I forgot how fun that car is to drive. I may have 2nd thoughts about giving my son the vert maybe get him a Geo Metro

^^Now your thinking.

Or get him a coupe. That way, its still cool, but when he gets in his first accident its not a vert gone

I hear you. That's what happens to me every week. I drive my vert over the weekend, so I know what you are saying. 240 vert is an amazing car. It gives you a lot of joy and happiness just by driving it around. It's getting hot here, so I don't drop the top anymore though.

haha, I would be pissed if given a geo metro after expecting a vert. BUT still, dont give him the vert hahaha.yeah, just give him a coupe, and if your worried about him racing around, just unplug two cylinders! Then you have the look of the 240, with the power of the metro!

I was seriously considering that car and Capri convertible when I was in school. I wanted a convertible that bad. Thank god, I saved up and bought 240.

.. damn.. i'd sleep with one eye open if you did that..he'd definetly be a hit wit da ladies wit a geo.. NOT! I'm thinking of starting a hatch for my son. but thinking of converting it into a pickup.. love the idea.. extra bracing, no back seats (means no extra passengers), support bracing in back (no passengers in back), he would only be able to carry one other person (if i don't pull the passenger seat..lol)... but i know how you're feeling. I'm hoping to get him into learning the build stuff and hope he will be less likely to romp on it or drive beyond his ability. I say drop some hints about a GEO if his grades aren't perfect..lol
