Malfunctioning Stereo System

My stereo works on and off without any warning. It seems to fade away and stop working.
A/C is fine, so I am thinking it could be an electrical connection.

Has anyone experienced this and if so how was it fixed?

There are issues with some solder joints and such within the G35 radio. If you search youtube you can see a few vids of people trying to fix their own. If you want someone else to fix it for you then you can try http://www.shortcircuitrepair.com/
