making your own undertray

Hey Guys,

so those of us with fat intercoolers and front lips to cover up the bottom can't use the stock plastic undertray that goes under the engine. Has anyone here fabbed their own or have plans to do something along those lines?

I am thinking about it and figured we should get a discussion started.

I am thinking about offsetting the undertray from the stock location to make it more flush with the bottom of the front lip. As far as material goes... i have no idea..

well i saw a s13 w a CA swap that used a stop sign as an underlay at carlise last year

not that i am encouraging you to steal a stopsign but it was pretty cool

I'm going to be making a tray, splitter, and diffuser from aluminum in the next month or two.

I'm hoping to do the same soon found a place around were I'm at that sells .068 thickness 6061 Aluminum in 4' x 8' sections for about 90 bucks.
