...of used and stock components. I hope.

Swain coated and ported/polished stock mani, used no-name t2/t3 hybrid turbo. At any rate, everything's finally here so I can reassemble and get this thing in the car.

Tight, how long did it take to port and polish it. I think you said you were gonna do it yourself.

I put around 4 1/2 to 5 hours into it, but someone who'd done it before could probably run through it in three. The porting I did is minor though; I spent most of the time grinding out internal imperfections with sanding drums and a stone and running flap wheels through everything. If I get the time I'll put another hour or so into it with a 120-160 grit flap wheel as I only had an 80 at the time.

If nothing else I think it was worth spending 15 minutes with a flap wheel and some compressed air to knock out the carbon that had built up inside. The clouds of black soot that shot out of the passageways were pretty unpleasant.

cool. let me know if you see any difference from the manifold, though i doubt youll be able to tell since youve got that new turbo going on it. ive got 3 weeks till my dad gets back from new mexico on buisness, so i can basically do what i want in that time.

Performance-wise it'll be somewhat hard to tell I'm sure. I'll take some external temp readings when I get it running to let you know what the coating's worth, and post some general spool times.
