Well I decided to hang on to my beater for the winter and daily drive it so I don't have to hose up the Spec's paint anymore than it is. Anyhow so I bought some cheapy rims on WheelMax (if you need cheap rims it is a good place). So here are the pics with the ADR Concept Pros with Kuhmos mounted on the '89 Civic Hatch. I also threw on some clear corners and bumper lenses with black housings :bigthumb: So whatcha think?

I also made a lovely cardomain page for the car. Check it out if you like: http://www.cardomain.com/id/ef_beater

it looks kinda silly with the little bitty stock tail pipe, I'll blame this perception on ricers!!

not bad for a beater though, nice to see you're still sportin the mud flaps.

Hehehe yeah it is defintely not fast. It has the D15 motor so it is pushing that whole 70hp stock whoo hoo and it prolly has less than that now since it is 14 years old :oface

Yeah the paint on it sucks cause it basically doesn't have any clear coat left on it and a few small rust spots but I may just take care of the rust spots, shave the moldings, and have one of my buddies spray the car for sh!ts and giggles. Depends on if I decide to keep this one or just pick up another beater in the spring. I will prolly throw some generic coilovers on the car also just so it doesn't look like a 4x4.

Yeah I thought about picking up a OBX catback off of eBay for like $200 or so on eBay. I hear they are not too bad for a cheap exhaust but have clearance issues on some things with the car lowered cause it is a can where my muffler is oval right now. What sucks is I had to put an exhaust on the car when I first bought it and the stupid place charged me as much as the OBX catback cause they had to do all the piping. I was not happy

Well I don't mind spending a little coin on the beater to make it look half way decent if I am going to keep it for a little while. It is just whether or not I want to keep the car heh. If I keep the car I will prolly swap out the motor and throw in a GSR motor so I can drive it for a while. I don't know how long the stock motor will hold out.

Those 1.5's are total bastards IMO. Possibly one of my most hated engines.
