My sr T25 made 1500 mi. So I am going to bite the bullet and start from scratch with a new turbo and accessories. I just want to make sure that I get all that I need in as much of one shot as possible. 1 Gt28R (gt2560), ebay intercooler kit for s14 (or is that a better fit for a top mount), new fuel pump. I read that stock lines work fine for the as long as you clock the turbo.

Do I have to use the stock turbo outlet when the new turbo is in stock location or would I be better off going for a top mount manifold? I have also read that I will need multiple turbo to manifold gaskets to make it fit.

Any advice or comments would be greatly appricated. I live in a rural area so the closed parts store is 30 mi's one way and anything not domestic is special ordered.

Is this a bone stock S13? you are going to want new injectors and some sort of tuner for the extra air you are not adding.

I am going to run stock boost. Is there a better turbo that I can use. I had bad luck with a rebuilt one. I can't find a new T25 so I was planning on a gt28r sice I can get a new one. I would have my T25 rebuilt but it ate some of the compressor fan so the rebuilt would cost as much as a new one. I haven't noticed any sounds from the engine so I think the intercool caught the metal from the compressor

Woudl I be better off going with a small T3 and getting a maniflold to fit or even a GT2554. I am not looking for much over stock power just need a running car. I have a seperated dump pipe into a 3in. down pipe with baffle in it (motorcycle style) The baffle is by CarChemistry It works really well. No car or exhaust behind it. I do need to put a turn down as the exhaust is kinda clse to the drive shaft carrier. I don't live in a state that has EPA checks. No inspections at all for that matter. Other than exhaust and the turbo all is stock. I like the way the car drives. Once I get it drving on the road I will start on the suspenion.

go pick up a SR T25 or CA T25. your results and costs will be much better.
