After watching the video I must say, your 'clean' and my 'clean' are very different. I'm glad you're excited. Enjoy the toy!
Haha thanks man, it is hard to find one this "clean" it is one of the best ones I've seen on CL in awhile for under $1000. I'll get it to where she needs to be.centralcoaster33 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 12:20 pmCongrats man. Welcome to NICO Club!

Hey Thank you!!! might have a blown head gasket tho from what the previous owner told me. I'm gonna order the whole upper engine gasket set. it is like 50 from rockauto
Haha I did some research and found that out. but thank you. I'm gonna be replacing the starter soon. the previous owner said he thinks the head gasket is blowncentralcoaster33 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2017 11:17 amGood choice for weight savings! You can clutch kit-start it whenever you want now.
FYI - manual and automatic starters are the same.
I actually got very lucky!!! that little spot on the hatch was the only rust on the hatch itself, and the trunk space where the spare tire goes was 90% surface rust and the other 10% the rust had barely started to eat into the metal, so I was able to clean it all up and get a good coat of paint on itPapaSmurf2k3 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 03, 2017 10:36 amYou're definitely not alone with hatch rust. I remember fixing mine... and then a few months later I just cut the back half of the car off haha... oh well.
