Alrighty, it sounds ghetto, but I need to make some motor mounts pronto. I found a cheap way, using aluminum truck body lift blocks. They are the perfect size, and they have a hole right in the middle already drilled. I want the engine to sit as low as possible. How much lower can the engine be dropped before I run into clearance issues, with the oil pan hitting the crossmember/steering rack. I need to know, before I go out and buy the blocks, because they come in different heights. Anyone know? -Jared

what i can tell you is 1/4 in height of the blocks will raise or lower the engine 1/2 an inch. im not too familiar with the clearances to the suspension and whatnot.

did you ever look at this? zerothread?id=204560
