I have decided after not talking, or even messing around with my sr20 for the past 2 weeks that Instead of getting rid of my car I will just build the motor up to handle a large amount of power while also making it reliable.

I wanted to know what you guys think of some of the parts I was going to order this month.....and if any of you guys are using them.

1) EAGLE RODS2) CP PISTONS--------(what compression should I get? I WANT LIKE 400HP)3) All new bearings4) New oil pump5) New water Pump6) -------I need some injectors. Im not sure what to go with. Im looking to make 350-400hp like i said and i would not like to spend an arm and a leg.

Can anyone think of anything else I should replace, or any other parts I will need to achieve my gool of 350-400 hp?..........I have not decided on a turbo yet. I want something that spools up as quick, but i relize that probably wont happen becasue to make 350-400hp I need a big turbo.

Do I need a z32 maf? and do I need to do anything with my ecu? or can i get away with it being stock?

Thanks guys,Dan

Quite a few people are making that kinda power with the stock bottom end. If I was to build a 350~400whp car I would go with this:

Stock bottom endApexi HGARP head studsSolid lifters740cc injectorsWalboro fuel pumpZ32 MAFRom tune(I live close enough to drive to enthlapy)GT2871r .64 or .86264/264 or 272/272 stage 2 cams maybe the tomei 280 solids

In fact, I've already bought everything but the turbo and the cams, going to play with a S15 turbo for a bit till I decide what cames and turbo I want to jump to, with the solid lifters I can rev the motor higher than with the hydraulic ones.

You'll definitely need the z32 maf. 740's are a good idea and a tuned ecu to handle those would be good. 272 cams can't hurt either. I have a very similar setup on my car. Actually the only real difference is that I'm running a big Precision turbo. It made 300hp at just 15psi with a cat on it! Just be prepared to get about 18mpg on the highway. Not that you care. LOL of course I have a JWT ecu and my afc is set to run a little rich so maybe the enthalpy tune is the way to go. I've heard they run just a little lean.
