So I have a set of j30 projectors that have broken plastic housings. I took the projector parts out of them and they fit in to my s13's headlight openings. I plan to make a houising for them to mount them in. I need to figure out what material to use for the clear cover. I want to use a flat section of (lexon? poly-material) some thing that won't scratch.

Ya I am finding lexon is the way to go. The projectors fit in the opening really good. I hope it turns out good.

Are you using the high beams too?

I would love to see NSX or BMW E31 style. They have the best pop-ups..

Was looking for pics and found this. NSX headlights on a mkiii Supra.

Lexan will scratch. Polycarbonate will scratch.

Build a few sets of covers so you can swap them out.

If you make a buck out of wood, you can heat the Lexan and shape it appropriately.

Well the car sits in my garage 99.9% of the time. It's driven < 2000 miles a year so I don't think scatching will be to big of a problem. I will post some pics here of the "test fiting" On my other s13 that currently has the headlights removed.
