Sand the part down, spray on a clear gel coat, and if need to be then prep then spray with a clear coat and UV protect the part.

the gel coat really isnt that important for something nside your car, go get some slow drying automotive clear coat spray cans and scuff the carbon with 1300 grit paper, spra a coat on, wait an hour, do it again, and keep doing this for 5 thin coats. put it somewhere it can stay above 70 degrees and after about 72 hours of drying if you really want it to look nice wet sand it with 2500 grit wetsand paper so that the orange peals go away then buff it at medium speed with a white whool pad and some 1300 buffing compound, then with a yellow whool pad lightly feather on some finishing glaze, it will really increase the 3d look of the carbon fiber
