as what?

What does it take to put 330-350 horsepower to the ground in an SR20DET? Can it be done on a T28 or ball-bearing T28?

Given there is a FMIC already in place and the correct injectors and fuel supply, what else would be needed and at what boost?

if u have a built motor and stuff, all u need to do is turn up the boost, that turbo should be ok til around 15 or so, correct me if im wrong- it may be higher, but t28=s14 motor and ur starting at like 220hp at the crank, maybe 170/180 to the wheels so its only 150 hp ur talking about, build motor and up boost, ur there

Just my opinion...but I dont think a stock t28bb could get up to 350.

s14 T28 = Journal bearing s15 T28 = Dual Ball Bearing

either way your not going to get to 350 with either of them.

FP Big28 can, but not a normal T28. The S15 turbo can barely see 300.

with the right tuning s15 T28s can see up to about 320 but that is highly unlikely unless you have a dyno and all of the electronics to do the tuning.

so maybe that Heavy Throttle stage 1 kit (they rate at 320-340 hp) with the proper electronics, fuel, and exhaust?

S14 T28 is ball bearing.

We will have before and after Dyno charts in 2 weeks for the Stage I turbo kit on my car - stock SR w/ FMIC and fuel pump.

Ya, the JDM S14 T28 is BB, as is the S15. In Euro, Aus and other countries the S14 T28 is still journal bearing. The max on the S14 BB you'll see is 280-290HP. :P

thanks for the replies guys..Jeff I am anxiously awaiting your dyno results!! I would like to go with the Heavy Throttle kit because of the great recommendations I have received on your company. However the power does need to be there, ya know?

Yeah I know guys, Im sure 330-350 WHP will get old after awhile and then the next thing you know I will be buying another car for my daily driver and this one will be drag/weekend use only!!hehehe..but for now, 330-350 is my goal..so I can still drive it well on the street and have power to burn...

I'm just wondering why import drivers think domestic drivers are gay and vice versa. I got love for ths 240's and the cobra (dream car) a cobra is putting close to 350 at the wheels bone stock but we gotta spend a crap load to get anywhere close ie engine swap or turbo kit plus other mods. I like both sides of the spectrum but if i had a choice between an 03 cobra or a 300 hp 240 id go with the cobra but thats just me. I still love my 240 and until i got money im gonna keep her.

hey i wasnt talking trash about Cobras..i was talking crap about their drivers...it doesnt matter though because that is a whole different thread..I like domestics too, but I cant justify $35k+ for a Mustang..

Exactly, I think more Import drivers respect domestics than Domestic drivers respect imports..
