makin popping noise and cuts out..

i have a 91 Nissan 240sx ka24de engine, it is making a popping noise and cuts out.so it makes it hard to drive it when it starts popping and cutting out . help me

It sounds like it's in "Limp Mode", the ecu usually won't let you rev over 2500 though, not 1500.

Check all of your wires and make sure they aren't worn and arcing against anything.

i have a 1991 i cannot find the crank angle sensor. does anyone know where it is and if it even has one .lol..

the ECU had a code 34 is that the Knock Sensor

ok the wire going to the Knock Sensor is broke in half so is that my problem y my car is running like ****

ok i fixed the Knock Sensor. the ECU has a code 34 again. i have reset the ecu but i get the code 34 again. so what do i need to do now.

do you have your exuast off? is that why it sounds that loud, or is the baby just loud naturally? i have no clue to what the problem could be. you havnt messed around with the timing have you?

cuz that popping noise sounds like if the exaust valves are opening slightly after Power stroke, making the "popping" sound......

Im sorry, i have no clue.

The exhaust Muffler had a big hole in it so i cut it off. and no I haven't messed around with the timing.
