and if you convert 30,000 yen to USD you get...(drum roll please!)

$251.78!!!!!

Just search CA18DET in the yahoo japan auctions and be sickened at the insanely cheap prices they pay... I found a 3 inch downpipe for $15!...yeah no zero on the end like our 3 inch downpipes...sucks to be us right about now huh?

Anyone in Japan wanna crate some of that stuff up and ship it to me?!? Pretty pretty please!:D

We should rent a jet, buy a ton of stuff, then divvy it up at a 240 meet. Anybody here have a jet?

don't need a jet just find someone in the army there with basic japanese skills and they can ship it back relatively cheaply (though relatively illegally). Not engines and stuff though, just small parts like turbos, pistons, manifolds...

http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/ As long as you translate just a few words at a time this works fairly well. I dont see why no one will sell internationally. If paypal went international we could get awsome part nice and cheap.

ya true. its really only worth it if you get something you really want @ a really cheap price. like one of the ITBs, the auction ended at like $17! and theyre woth like $300.

what is an ITB and if you are gonna post, please tell us what is up, there are a lot of parts there and its not like many of us are gonna pony up for shipping to compete with you...

sorry, cant do it. if any of you CA guys want anything on yahoo japan, let me know. ill charge what it cost me plus a couple bucks for a 6 pack or sumthin. one thing, im not really rollin in dough, so id have to have the money when the auction closes. then when im quoted a shipping price, youd have to cover that. no questions asked. sorry if it sounds fishy but thats how all my experiences have been. if you win the right auctions, youll come out ahead. my stuff was worth about 30% more than what i paid on the latest order(shipping included)
