ID like to try makeing my own custom tonneau cover, iv used fiberglass a bit befor and i got alot of ideas on how to do it, but i wanted to see if any one here has any kind of advice/ideas for something like this.

Interesting idea.

I have seen some home made jobbies, but they are mostly made out of wood. I am curious to see what you come up with.

its a much down the line project, got some body stuff and disk break swap id like to do first but the sooner i start drawing this stuff out the better chance i have of workng out the kinks
