I'm looking to activate the existing DRLs on my US 2011 M37. Not looking to upgrade bulbs or make any other lights act as DRLs. The US models appear to have the bulbs in place but they just don't activate. Curious to know the difference between US and Canadian models as far as DRLs. Is it a programming difference...is it just a fuse or relay...or something else?
I'd figure they would build them so the difference between US and Canadian models would be something very simple. Search this forum but couldn't find the answer.

In that instance, a tweak with a CONSULT-III and a relay was the difference.

If any Nissan/Infiniti mechanics are still around here with access to a CONSULT-III perhaps they can chime in.

Alternately, there are a number of aftermarket DRL solutions that your local custom auto shop could likely install for you (or you could DIY).
