you have a lot of really expencive stuff there..like the rota rims...you need to really go throu the motor to see what it has internally..we cant tell ya jack till we all know...but by what ya discribed..it might have alot done..maybe to its limit as a N/A build...post some pics up..and what MSD do you have?

MIGHT be good for 160 hp. Move out of cali or get a friend whos a smog tech. Turbo or motor swap.. A N/A Ka is nearly impossible to squeeze tangible amounts of hp out of.

i believe these motors are 155hp stock, in that case i shoul;d def. be above 160, a dyno would tell, but dynos are holes in the pockets!

ANYONE in the BAY AREA? Got a shop?? help out a 240 brother

155hp to the crank hes talking about probaly to the wheels cars lose about 15% of there power to the wheels so ur car stock makes like.... 135?ish to the wheels so right now ur probaly making 160 165 to the wheels unless u have high compression pistons which u could make more with

yea that is true. id loooove to know what upgraded internals i have if so. i guess the only way to know is tear that beast a new A hole and colonoscipy it or whatever :] HA

So i just picked up a open diff with 100k, do not know if i want to go another welded, stay open, or buy a lsd

I love welded, mines makin some noise like a little metal getting crunched around when going slow. i know an awsome welder. but yeaWatcha think?

Dont weld if your going to daily drive it, or drive it frequently.

If you DD it, buy a s15 helical with half shafts. The half shafts are now really really hard to find separate from the difs.

Also, dont tear the damn motor apart who gives a fvk. If its running now, it might not be running when you put it back together, you know? You should however do a compression test and let us know the numbers. That can be a good indicator of what slugs your running.

Also, does your oil stay clean?

O/C you wont lose power, you will lose traction. Welded is hell on tires for a DD.

so i just installed a walboro 255lh fuel pump, and in result of it being properly installed, i have an issue starting. I did the correct procedure, started the car and its wanting to start but just cant do it.I took it out poured fuel into the pump making sure its primed, put back together, and tried. Again wanting to start but just couldnt. i am thinking i need an adjustable fuel regulator to go along with the pump to get the correct psi to match the pump?

Any ideas whats wrong. Everything else is good in ignition. Fuse is good. yea

At the crank, or at the wheels?
