As long as it's tuned right you won't blow up your car.You said you got excellent compression so your engine shouldn't die on you.Depends on how rough you are on your car if it blows up.You're getting a tuned ECU so everyhtign should be pretty well set-up from the get go.

The engine's break point as stock is 400rwhp and that's he pistons. So anythign at 350 andlower is safe as long as you ain't detonating and check your fluids regularily.

Minor bolt-ons and that thing will rape you.

I wouldn't run your mouth too much.

The money arguement is an old cop out. Poor people go fast, rich people go faster.

He can't drive or his car has a problem.

Stock w/ lid and cutout those cars are high 12's on street tires.

It usually takes intake, headers, exhaust for a SS to hit low 12's. Not like domestic parts are expensive though, they are dirt cheap.

0-6--low boost (very safe on a normal engine)7-12 --medium boost (safe on ka24de, if its in good shape, below 10psi is ok)

12-and up--high boost(mostly off road, track use)

make sure your compression will match, a/f must be good, or engine is dead.
