Major transmission problem!! help please!

While hard driving, I tried to down shift from 5th to 4th (@ around 70mph). But It wouldn't go into any other gear but 5th. So I parked and tried to get it into other gears but It will only go into 5th gear.

This is current situation:It only moves up and down. From 5th to neutral and not even into reverse. And it won't pop out into the nuetral position(center) from 5th gear. When it goes into neutral, it will stay into the mid right.

Can any one help me? Is this really bad?Do I need to get new transmission?

First thing i'd do is bleed the lines (remove dampener first), and adjust the clutch (from below the dash), and see if that does anything.
