For the past week, my car has been leaking puddles of something underneath the driver side of the car near the steering wheel. This morning when I warmed up the car , left it there and when I went outside again, I saw some type of fluid sprayed out of my exhaust. And today, when I got home, I checked the oil.. the oil was kinda black and I checked the Power Steering fluid and the it was empty and the hose was damped and watery. I changed the oil but as for the PS, I dont feel nothing being wrong with my steering though. And my engine looks like it was sprayed with oil, especially around the valve covers. The shop said there was oil everywhere underneath the engine. Could it be the valves?

Oil leaks and Power Steering Leak. What should I fixed first?

fix power steering first. It's probably the easiest to do. None of the hoses run into the motor. You've just got the pump, resovoir and the connecting lines. Very simple to fix.

The shop found the power steering leak. It was under the engine on "passenger" side. As I said earlier there was a puddle on the driver side tho. The mechanic said that it was the Power Steering sensor or something. I dont think its the name tho. It this thing that connect to the hose coming from the power steering container, or what its call, and theres a line connect to that and it goes under the engine. I dont know how to describe it. Its those power steering lines...

How hard is it to change that? Any tips because Im gonna do it myself.
