Alright so starting about 3 PM today my car has had a new electrical problem every time I get in or out. To start the story, sometimes my remote wont lock and unlock my car in concrete parking garages, not something that kills me.... So today that happens I manually lock the car and manually unlock the car. My shifter will not move.... Have to use the shift unlock feature with an extra key to shift.

Next time I get in the car, my compressors wont turn on for my air suspension... Check all fuses relays all fine, problem is coming from where I tapped an ignition sensor wire under the dash. Bybpass it manually to fill the tank will last me a day.

Next time I get in the car, windows and sunroof wont opperate at all... Cant figure it out. NO BLOWN FUSES TO BE SEEN.....

Next I stopped at my parents house to check things out a little nothing at all is wrong that I can see. All fuses in the engine bay are good and I checked at least half the ones under the dash that looked to corespond to anything important, none are blown. So after this work, now my seat and steering wheel wont set to my programmed position and move outta my way like that have everytime.

Im jsut scared to get in my car tomorrow and see what the hell happens next.

If anyones got any ideas, let me know. Electrical is my one weakspot in knowledge of cars. I just want this thing to work like its suppossed to do. I did not do anything abnormal for this to happen.

97 Q45. No flood damage as far as I could see I inspect the hell out of every car i buy before it happens and i have had almost every part of the car removed by myself at some point except the dashboard, wheich seems to be where the problems are arising.

I know it has something to do with the brakeswitch, but it seems completely normal when I inspected it tonight.

Without knowing how you modified car's wiring, tough to tell what may have been compromised.

Only part of factory wirind to be modified is a 4 gauge runnnig off the battery, ignition wire tapped off the cigarrette lighter for all gauges and switches and another ignition wire tapped off a blue relay under the drivers side dash. This is no longer getting power with ignition and maybe the reason.

What is this and is it a blue relay under the drivers side dash?

No, download and study the FSM. Several daignostics are in the manual.

Doubt it has anything to do with nearby concrete unless it is between you and the car.

There is a relay in the trunk that controls some of this stuff and a Body Control Module,BCM that is under the dash, behind the steering wheel.

I have a Body Control Module if needed, FYI, its a $700 dealer part.
