Since I bought my car the clutch was on its way out, fluid in the resovior blacker than tar. Clutch pedal dead like midnight. Still it managed to move and drip at times. But sunday night I think I delivered the blow. After semi spirited driving, clutch in pedal stayed on the floor and I heard someting click like a breaking sound. Picked it back up with my toe and now my clutch feels like its barely engaging, along wit the fact I was able to put it in first and idle with my foot off the clutch. After letting it cool some I was able to limp home at an average of 15 mph. My question is, is my disc really just done or could my clutch pivot fork ball be broken?

Sounds like the master cylinder went, or, the fluid line broke. When the pedal falls to the floor then that means that the pressure released from the system. Start with the Master and Slave cylinders. If that doesnt fix it, then make sure that none of your lines are rotted through and leaking. The pedal will not fall to the floor unless the pressure has released some way or another. The clutch might actually be prefectly fine, could have been that your master cylinder or slave cylinder were on their way out.

similar thing happened with my car right after i got my ka put into it. forgot to hook up one of the hoses.. clutch pedal would stay to the floor.. i'd have to lift it up to put it in gear, and i could idle in first, and my car would be going forward without the car in gear. and s*** was all wack.

Yaa I also think your master clutch cylinder is toast not the clutch itself, the black stuff in your fluid is the seals deteriorating, it just finally failed, easy fix at least until you have to change the clutch.

I'd say that would be the first step. As stated above if your pedal goes to the floor and doesn't come back 9 times out of 10 hydraulics are to blame. See if that fixes the problem. If not and you have to pull the transmission feel free to give me shout. Ill be more then happy to walk you through whatever you need.
