Maintenance Screen Reset By Accident/

I have a 2004 M45 and when in the screen that has the fuel economy, etc. I pushed the enter button apparently too long and not only that screen reset, but the screen with the elapsed time etc. and the maintenance screen all reset. My dealer has a very knowledable tech. and he says that I may have pushed the reset (enter) button before the first screen stabilized which caused the reset. Anyone have this issue? Thanks.

I have not experienced this!

One SWAG is that you might have accidentally pressed the "prev" button too long, in which case it cycled to the elapsed screen (quietly apparently?) and the maintenance screens?
