Just curious what everyone else is on.

I do about 3500-4000 kms a month, 99% of it highway so i do my oil changes every 10,000-12,000 kms on synthetic.

I refuse to let the dealership do anything else that the oil changes. They charge and arm and a leg for inspecting and filling s*** up (they topped up my windshield washer fluid the 1st time for like 5$ lol). I personally think its a cash grab.

I rotate my own tires and going to change the air filter for the 1st time this week.

Just curious how everyone else co-ordinates their maintenance.

Also, doing a search for similar topics someone mentioned they changed their transmission oil every 20K. Is that him being anal or is that normal?

i usuallly do the oil changes every 3500 miles on mobil 1 full synthetic oil just because i like my car to run smooth at all times. as far as the transmission goes im not sure about switching oil every 20,000 miles. it seems like a good idea to switch it at that mileage to keep the car running at full potential

how often do y'all change brake pads (or plan to)?

brake pads i never go based on mileage, i go by the noise of the brakes. once the start squeaking then i check them to see how much they have left. i got lifetime warranty on them
