NightRiderQ45 wrote:Hey. I purchased my Y33 1/05. In 7/06, I gave my car a tune up. During that month, I've put on ceramic pads, changed the spark plugs, changed the transmission fluid, switch to K&N air filter (but now peoples say that it's actually bad), and change the oil (5w-30) every 3k miles. I know there are things that I haven't changed on my car, so could people please assist me with telling me certain things that needs to be changed. Things that I haven't done since purchase that needs to be:
1) Flush the anitfreeze fluid. I've been hearing a lot about some red dex radiator fluid but some people say stick with the green stuff? Any suggestions?
2) Change the fuel filter
3) Put new rotors around my car.
What else is there to do? Thanks.

You may want to run a "CONSULT" to check on condition of injectors, coils, and 02 and knock sensors while you're at it. Ask Q45tech how to further check these items without a CONSULT, which as I understand it, may not tell the full story on these items. Maybe he can give you links to threads that already address these issues.
Follow Phatyak's advice on steering items, wheel bearings, shocks/struts.
As Q45tech says, it can cost up to $6,000 to $10,000 to bring a used Q up to snuff, depending on previous owner's maintenance and how the car was used..
That should cover most of it.
Anyone else have more?
