i have a 04 g35 coupe and i just hit 60,000 miles. I have done all the maintenance work but dont want to deal with changing the radiator hoses, coolant, and belts. The dealer wants about 600 bucks for this!!! Is it ok if I wait on changing the hoses and coolant? Or is this something i definitely need to take care of??

Any help would be great! thank you

I'm sure it will be OK, but I wouldn't wait much past 80k. To save some cash, just replace the coolant and check the hoses/belts.

+1. I've had many a vehicle over 100k miles that had the original hoses.

I replaced mine in the coupe around 50K. Followed the FSM in the FAQ's and was ez. Had to keep purging the air, but no biggie.

Have a mechanic check the belts, they might still be good. Honestly though, a shop will change the belts for FAR cheaper than the dealership. They quoted my friend $150 for belts with labor and tax, his mechanic did it for $30.

I wouldn't worry about the hoses either unless you see any damage (stress marks, tears, etc) as there is no point in changing them otherwise.

If you are at 60K, you should def change your belts. You can get a set from Nissan for around $30. Get a set of Rhino Ramps for around $35.A set of Kobalt 3/8 socket set for around $25 from Lowes.

Follow the FSM in the FAQ. very EZ

You saved around $40 doing it your self!!! AND, you have a new set of ramps and some new tools!!! Plus, with the $40 you saved you deserve some more new tools!!!!
