Maintenance on 1996 Q Rolling 100K

Now that my car is 100K old, I am getting ready to do some preventative maintenance on the motor and drivetrain and wanted to get some ideas from others members what they used, suggest, etc.

Recently I replaced the rotors and brake pads and had the brake lines flushed. I am planning to do the following over the next two months or less:

1. transmission filter and fluid - any suggestions for fluid and filer?2. Rear diff gasket and lube - again any suggestions?3. Replace strut/shocks with Tokico blues - are these really good replacements?4. Power steering flush - maybe, will it make that much of a difference?

Have I missed anything important that should or needs to be done at this mileage?

Also, oil changes are every 3K, tires are balanced and rotated every 5K.

All these basic items are covered on this board many,many,many times-try a search to gather different opinions about fluid choices,etc

diff has drain and fill plugs,cover and gasket not touched during routine 30,000 mile drain/fill procedure

What needs to be done at this mileage depends on what your service history is-plugs,valve cover gaskets,plenum hoses,knock sensors,belts,hoses,thermostat,links,tension rods,transmission mount,suspension bushings,ac service,coolant flush,external transmission filter,fuel filter,etc

You are on the correct track, but maybe a little late on initiating these procedures.

Might consider an external ATF filter replacment also. PS fluid amount is small and highly stressed in urban driving in any Q45.

I'd say at 100k there are lots of things to do. Do a search for ultimate q45 maintenance. There's a list.

Well I just finished the transmission and power steering. Have on order the Tokico Blues and should have those next week.

Who has the best price on the strut boots and top strut mounts and bearings for the front struts. I want to replace those when I pull the suspension, also I want to replace the boots on the steering as well.
