Maintenance indicator

Hey everyone, I have a 2014 Rogue and when I go to the maintenance section on the instrument cluster, Its not keeping track of how many miles I've driven, it says like 4/5000 miles, where it should be like 1400/5000 miles, if that makes sense, I tried everything. Thought I would ask here before going to to the dealer for a run 'round.

I guess I hadn't noticed this feature yet. I will have to check it out and report back.

Took mine to the dealer and they have not seen this before. They said they want to watch it. I got it back today, I have to call them back on Monday. Seems like either when the Nav resets or when the car is off for a couple of hours it resets back to zero. At first we thought it might be me resetting it by mistake, but we reset it at the dealer and 30 miles later its only at 5/5000.

Yup, that's pretty much what mine does, it worked fine in my Maxima I had, hope my dealer can figure it out, I don't like to use the sticker on the window. This sounds like something Nissan has to look in to, something was not set up right when they produced it.

I have the same problem, and my nav system has yet to freeze or reboot. Seems like a software bug Nissan will have to release an update for.

I took mine in to the dealership today. They said they haven't seen this before. They reset it and changed the interval to 750 miles. Told me to leave the maintenance screen alone and take it back in after 750-1000 miles if the maintenance indicator doesn't come on at that time.

Same issue here with my 2014 Rogue SV and it occurs when the car is turned off for a period of time. I've noticed it reset after leaving the car off for as little as 15-20 minutes.

I'm hoping when Nissan comes out with a software upgrade that will correct it. I would like that to work properly.

The dealer got back to me today and said they did it with one on their lot and, as suspected, it had the same issue. They have escalated the case with Nissan who told them they are "investigating". My dealer advised me they will let me know when they hear back, which may be a while.

Well thanks for the info, I make a call to Nissan if driving nails under my fingernails aren't enough
