I have heard of this happening on two owners already. They found out that their oil was low at 500. This is sad to hear, since when you get a new car you expect the dealer to fil it up. I know that within the first 1,000 miles you burn off a little oil, bit not enough for the light to go on.
Other than that, make sure your air filter housings are tight. This might cause the light to go on.
Hope this helps.
