Will Regularly Schuduled Maintenance at places other than dealership void out warrantees... I have my own mechanic that I trust... will it void out my warranties if i take it to his shop? My family and friends have been using them for years, never cheated me and has always done good work...

As long as there is a record of the said service or if you do your own work, make sure to keep receipts of the parts you bought. A dealer can not void your warranty...

Yes keep every single receipt - in fact get a cheap document case and throw every car related scrap of paper in it - warranty info/receipts/purchase agreements, etc. If you ever have to dispute anything with the dealership or an insurance company it makes everything so much easier

My auto broker said you can get the maintenance done anywhere just as long as you keep the receipts to prove it was done according to schedule - also make sure the receipts have a time/date stamp on them and if possible for oil change receipts, a mileage stamp too..

I am going to the dealership on Monday to get an extended warranty for my A/C - I am getting the maximum 7 year bumper to bumper (ASP) for $1400 Cdn so that's not bad I guess. Most people say not to bother with it but I intend to keep the car for at least that long and if things can go wrong around me, they eventually will
