I lived in Brooklyn for 15 years.... 20 in NYC altogether. And I can honestly say no.

Least dishonest is in Bay Ridge, IMO. But I haven't been in NY for about 4 years now; so the management or employees may have changed since. Yelp is your friend on this one.

I go to Lynnes Nissan in Bloomfield NJ for anything I cant/wont do myself. Always good service, always nice guys (there are a lot of them that work there), and good techs.

I will give them a call next DJBeasy....

SO far I called the dealer in bayride I would like to point out they gave me the best price yet.. 60,000 maintance package. Change CVT fluid, coolant, greese this that belts and so on.. 532$ then he had to kill is tell me at 70,000 I need to change the spark plugs when really its 100,000...

I called in Long island I believe it was sunrise highway the things he listed to me were to complex for me even to remember ac system heating system so on and so forth grand total 989!! he sounded like he knew what he was saying but what do i know...

2 more random long island prices 737 and 854 so by far 532 is the best price but why did u have to go there and say plugs ughhh!!!

You can refer to your owners manual. It'll usually tell you when you need to go in for specific maintenence. My dealership hasn't mentioned anything specific yet. But I'm sure once my clock hits 60,000 I might hear a few things about scheduled maintanence.

The link I posted above is the Nissan Service and Maintenance guide for his 2008 Altima Coupe which goes over all the vehicle-specific maintenance and schedules....

So yesterday I brought my car in.. They actualy gave me a 40$ coupon so it wound up being 500 yes still over priced cause when u caculate the material they used its mostly just labor.. anyway they come to me and tell me there were conector arm assembly or something like that on the driver side from wheel that needed to be replaced I did look up the part they put down and the part alone is 178 for a lil piece they said the only time i would notice it was going over bumps but that was covered under the warentee so i didnt care anyway. They also found 1 cracked motor mount also coverered and they changed that as well.. question I have could they say that and its really not broken so Nissan can pay them?? as u can see I have no trust at all from dealers lol .. Then they tell me my radiator hose has some resude on it the hose that connects to the radiator on the top. She tells me that I dont have to replace it now just to keep a eye on it. I asked for her to show me so I can keep a eye on it. I did see the resadue and when she brought me to see the car the tech actually had a machine on it flushing out the radiator and i gues the engine since there one. SO that made me feel a lil happy about the work. I noticed they did greese the hinges and all ballances and rotated wheels .. So overall it was overpriced but cvt and coolant done and maybee motor mount? and I will do the hose myself since they quoted me 150$ and the hose is 8 dollars on line lol
