First off I'm new to the forum but glad to be part of it! I have a 91 z32 my third z car and I'm wanting to know how often I should swap the 5spd gear oil out? I'm very into my car ex: I change my oil every 2,500 miles just because I feel better doing it even know its every 3k you would normally do so lol so what should I do since I'm anal about my car?

First off..Welcome!.....pics *cough*cough*

I don't know for sure how often to change transmission oil, I've heard 60k-100k miles.
2,500 huh. I "try" to do it every 4,500 to 5000 with conventional, and about 7k with synthetic.

Did you recently purchase your z32?

Not sure on the transmission oil either, someone else should know though.

Are you running conventional oil or synthetic. Most owners run full synthetic, but different brands. Full synthetic should be good for at least 5000 miles. It can go longer, but it depends how you drive it. If it's a TT, or if you drive it hard, the oil won't last as long.

Btw welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the welcome! This is my first z32 but my third z car. I had two 88's, nothing compared to the 90's lol and I resently got rid of my auto and swapped in the 5spd but it was a used system so I would imagine it was changed befored installed but I wont know for sure until I look myself and it seems to shift good I just drive the piss out of her pretty much everyday. But regarding oil I do use synthitic so I guess I could leave it in longer but I live in Florida and its always so hot. I plan on doing a swap soon(either vg30dett or rb26) but just want to keep this n/a motor in good shape until then it's only at 124k

Just do it every 60k, you change your motor oil every 2500 so why not.
