To the engine builders out there or anyone with more of a clue about this than me...

I am on the verge of assembling my motor here (ross 8.5:1 pistons+pauter rods, rotating assembly balanced, etc) and tomorrow I'm gonna bust out the micrometers and bore gauges to figure out which bearing grade to order.

Anyway, does anyone have suggestions for what clearance to shoot for ? I don't want it to be too tight or too loose :-/

Whatever it says in the FSM? I remember my machine shop said they set the clearances a smidgen tighter than they normally do for V8's and stuff but it was within the factory range for whatever bearing grade they got.
