Hey Guys,I'm thinking about buying a S13 that is a couple states south of me. I'm willing to go down there to pick it up and all that, but I dont want to make the 300 mile trip if the car turns out to have something seriously wrong with it.So I looked online, and there's this company called Magoo's Automotive Consultants (http://www.magoos-inc.com/) that will send a mechanic ("inspector") to go check out the car for you. They say he will test drive it and check the ENTIRE car out. They'll then post the results and pictures online for you to see.I figure I'd want to have a mechanic check out the details of the car before I buy it anyways, and it sure would be nice to have a company to do this instead of having to drive all the way down there and then FIND some down home mechanic there, dotcha think? I could have them check it out for me as a preliminary check, and then go test drive it/check it out myself to make sure I like it.The cost for the service (with a deal through carfax) is $129.
Has anybody used these guys, or anything similar? What thoughts/comments do you have about it?
