I have a 1990 KA24E 240sx, and am wondering if a magnaflow muffler with a custom 2.5" exhaust would look/sound good.

Just don't want a real loud, ricey exhaust on my car, and wondering if this would do the right thing.

Thanks,

Ryan.

I think it would make it sound a lot like a nissan truck with a magnaflow muffler, and I never really liked that sound... I say a good cat back will sound better and would give you more power.

Hmm...doesnt BRM use magnaflow mufflers? I asked AZhitman and he says some of the mufflers are made in house and some by magnaflow to their specs. They "tune" the sound, but i guess it can't be that bad :?

There are LOTS of different style magnaflow mufflers, they will all sound different as well. To a large degree, its a trial and error kinda thing, if you get one and dont like it...well damn. Chances are as long as its resonated and well built, it should sound pretty decent though. At least its not one of those damned Ebay mufflers...dont get me started on them.

i have a dual tip magna flow (cat back with one resonator) on my integra, and it has a great sound...it's not ricey like other hondas, but has a deep throaty growl.

i'm actually putting a similar system on my 240 but with 3" piping
