Yes, I've had a single-tip (4") Magnaflow on my 88 NA,And my 86 NA has a dualtip (2") Magnaflow on it currently. They produce a modest, lower note at idle, and upon heavy accel, it gets a little higher, not too loud at all... I'm a fan.I prefer the dual-tip styling though.

I ran the dynomax catback on my old 85 n/a years back, got it form strano's and was completly happpy with it, I now have the Certified Muffler setup on my 87T, and I am very happy with it as well but they are kinda slow to ship, actualy they told me it was going to take a few days to ship out, and it actualy took a few days more than they said, so if you are in a rush I'd look elsewhere

I've honestly never heard a Magna Flow I haven't liked. They've all sounded good behind any engine I've seen them attached to.
