Never owned one myself but a few friends have them. They all work fairly reliably but the call quality seems pretty s***. I mean it's not like a driving through a tunnel on a cell phone or something but it sounds hollow and just not that great.

There seem to be a lot of complaints milling around involving other aspects like the advertising and the fact that you pretty much waive your right to sue them when you run the installer but I can't really speak to that.

Thanks for the info guys.I went to their website and also found out that they don't recommend hooking up your home security on it. I think i will pass on buying one.

Friend got one and ran his entire digital phone system on it. He worked in tech support from home and didnt have a landline. Sounded great. Was quite reliable.
