mafs ???? which one is best to use????

on a sr blacktop what is the best mass airflow sensor to use? which one will handle the most power? and the least at the same time?

it depends on what you wanna do and what your goals are... But i would say the z32 is best because its the most used usually.... Try searcing also and youll learn alot.

thats why im asking im tryn to learn...... im just not shure what all of the numbers and letters mean. im a newly born sr fan i came from a family of obd1 honda fanatics which dont use mafs..... but thanks for the lesson...

z32 is 300zx maf. but you will need an safc or a rom tune to run that maf. i just say search because the answer is out there and people on forum dont like repeat questions. but other than that welcome to nico and the nissan world

The MAF that can handle the most is a ford lighting maf but I seriously doubt you will ever hit that kind of hp. Everyone that uses a maf upgrades to either a z32 n62 maf or a maxima n60 maf. n60 is cheap and will support up to around 300-350 hp. n62 are supposed to support up to 500 hp.

Z32 is best for ease of use, most managemant will work with it. Other mafs may be better, but will require more tuning if your controller doesn't come with a preset. From what I know the biggest maf I've seen used on supras and rbs is the granatelli cobra maf. Tons of options though as far as size, it's a matter of ease of use.
