Is 4.87 too much?
Its just the stock rb20det mafs.
According to a post by Carl zerothread?id=194149 I'm hitting boost cut. I need a power fc bad.
300zx mafs recomended if I'm hitting that voltage?
Im using nissan datascan to get the voltage.
Thanks.
btw, this is on a rb20det, stock ecu, stock injectors, hks gt 2530 turbo 10psi, aftermarket filter and exhaust.
Update:Got some more readings at lunch. At idle (no neutral pos sens) it reads 1.19-1.2
I was talking to a friend of mine who is into electronics and I was telling him it is supposed to be a shielded wire. He thinks the wire I had to splice in isn't grounded with the old wire and that the whole length of wires shield should only be grounded at one point and preferably closer to the ecu. I will have to check this out later as I have read previously that at idle the maf signal should be less than 1v. Apparantly not having the shield grounded could be causing the shield to act as an antenae for rf interference and causing the voltage to read high.

Log file from drive if anyone is interested. Time stamp is off by a few hours.

around the 9:47:51 - 9:47:54 is where I had some "stuttering" followed by backfire.
