alright im almost done with the ca swap i was wondering if i could sauter the plugs up with the old ka mafs and use it or if it would just be better and easier (but i will still have to do sautering to stretch the wires?)to buy a stock ca18de mafs from advance auto or auto zone?

sohc ka maf will work on a ca18det.

Yup it works as Rookieca18det just stated. Easy to wire as well. Here is the wiring diagram you need to follow.

ka24e - ca18detblack - blackblack/white - black/whiteWhite - Green/blackGreen/yellow leave disconnected or tape off.
