Its been touched on in the "S14 vs S15" but no one will ever find it if they search so i'm starting a new thread so it can be disscussed in more detial...perhaps someone should start one about TB sizes since the major problem here is when searchin we can never find good info thats been disscussed since the topic names are crap...

So first of all, does anyone know the exact sizes of the SR S13/14/15, KA S13/14, Z32, and perhaps some RB mafs? Also the mustang corbra mafs has also been mentioned as a upgrade via a ecu re-map, but can it be compensated with a SAFC instead of the re-map? And whats the size of it?

If anyone has anything to add or the answers to some of my questions, post away...

Most of the time we look for how much hp the MAFS will hold. IIRC SR MAFS will hold to about 280-300. Cobra is a little higher at like 350 or something, and the Z32 will be good to like 550hp.

I think the SAFC just allows you to use the Z32 maf without having to modify your ECU...

Cobra will hold more than the Z32! the stock craps out at 300 to the ground MAX the Z32's behind it with anywhere from 550-600 to the ground and the Cobra will take a rediculous amount (the COBRA MAFS IS HUGE!)

Cobra cannot support as much as the Z32. Besides, who here honostly plans on making 500-600 using a MAFS system instead of a standalone.

An HKS VPC replaces a MAFS. Each company usually has their own sensor that will override a MAFS.

Speedracer1- When I get my sr20 im going to put my z32 maf on there, how would I put it on the stock intake piping? DO I have to get something for the intake piping and the z32 for them to connect and stay connected properly?

if your running a stock t-25 and the piping with a Z32 MAFS...http://www.phase2motortrend.com sells adapter kits to fit the MAFS on the piping....but You'll need an intake kit for a vg30de/vg30dett which they also carry......

Good luck making that kinda HP with a piggyback....

Z32 will fly 200hp more than the Cobra, ppl end up putting a resistor in the cobra MAF in order to get it to read above the 350ish level.

All those HP numbers are also BHP not RWHP just so you guys know.
